Les cours durent généralement 75 minutes.
Pendant les 15 premières minutes du cours, nous nous installons en posture assise et nous nous connectons à notre respiration, à notre corps et à notre esprit. Nous nous enracinons dans la terre comme si nous en faisions partie. Puis nous allongeons notre colonne vertébrale vers le ciel. Nous nous accordons ensuite avec l’Adi Mantra qui est le chant kundalini, Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo ( Je salue cette énergie créatrice qui m’amène de l’ombre à la lumière et me fait connaître le divin – Si le mot « divin » vous gêne vous pouvez tout aussi bien vous rattacher au: « lien spirituel qui est en vous.» ). En chantant au début, nous détendons notre nerf vague. C’est le nerf le plus long du corps.
Une fois que nous avons créé cette connexion interne profonde et cette paix, nous commençons un exercice de pranayama (respiration) sélectionné pour nous assurer que notre respiration est équilibrée. Lorsque notre respiration est équilibrée, notre esprit l’est aussi.
